[He repeats that part if only because the effects of his headache weigh little by little more heavily on his focus as they walk and honestly he's not been down there more than a hand full of times to look out in space to even have been aware something felt like it was moving underneath... If he had known, he probably would have avoided going altogether.

[ Well, to be fair, John's been feeling particularly paranoid as of late, so he doesn't necessary consider himself an authority of what is and isn't happening. But he's always been good at conjecture and he's fairly attuned to his surroundings where possible.
